Daphne Fan is a mother of two young children now aged 6 and 8-years-old. She founded Money Champ System when her children were 3 and 5-years-old. She observed that they had little understanding of the value of money and demonstrated poor spending habits.Remembering the 10 painful years of financial challenges she laboured through since the heartbreaking death of her first-born son, which nearly landed her in bankruptcy and being stripped of self-confidence, she was determined to impart money management skills to her children. Thus, she decided to establish a method to impart money management skills to her children. With the great success of her method, it lead to the birth of the Money Champ System.
Money Champ System is best applied with children when they are young and receptive to teaching. It will be easier to impart more sophiscated financial education, like investments to children who mastered Money Champ Money Management System.
Money Management Skill is one of the vital foundation skills to ensure children grow up to be successful, wealthy and happy.

Cecillia Chow is our founding member based in Hong Kong. She worked in the Finance industry for more than 15 years, and helped many individuals and families - rich and poor to better plan their finance and wealth.
In 2008, Cecillia decided to stop her work as Financial Planner, and to volunteer to improve the financial literacy of the children in Hong Kong. She has modified Cash flow game to guide children to understand about money management in Hong Kong context, but found that the game set limit the coverage of scope.
In 2010, she decided to join in the devleopment of Money Champ System, so as to build a new generation who can truly be successful, wealthy and happy, which is aligned to Kids Hub's mission. |
